Nicolette is the Vineyard Kids director at South Metro Vineyard Church. She lives in Burnsville with her incredible husband, Aaron, and her precious son, Walter, born in September 2025. Nicolette graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. From there, she was a missionary teacher in the Philippines for 2 years, and then returned to the states to intern and work at Tapestry Vineyard Church for 3 years, where she helped with children, youth, worship, admin, and preaching. She then returned to education and taught 5th Grade in Burnsville and at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy in Richfield for the last 7 years. Now a stay-at-home mom, she loves working with kids of all ages at SMV. She is passionate about equipping kids to love God and love people, and to experience the love of God in their lives.

For fun, Nicolette enjoys all things outdoors. Whether that’s cross-country skiing, skating, snowshoeing, or hiking in the winter, or canoeing, fishing, backpacking, paddleboarding, camping, or biking in the warmer months, you are bound to find her (and now Walter!) on some lake or trail nearby. She also enjoys working with the organic farm Backlund Acres in Belle Plaine and making all her own food, lotions, candles, and home products. She is up for any adventure!
