Volunteering in Vineyard Kids

Our children’s areas are filled with volunteers who have a heart for kids and God’s ministry to them.  Each person involved with Vineyard Kids has submitted an application, completed a background check, and met with the Children’s Ministry Director in order to serve in this ministry. The purpose is to provide a safe environment for our children, as well as to protect those who serve. At least two adults are staffed between our infant and toddler nursery during the service, and no child volunteers will ever be left alone to care for children.

Interested in volunteering?

All adult volunteers are required to submit a volunteer application and background check, as well as meet with the Children’s Ministry Director, Julie Berglund.

Middle and high school students are welcome to get involved, too! Older children who serve in the nursery must be at least 11 years of age. Parents of children in Vineyard Kids who do not serve on a monthly basis may be asked to serve as a substitute on an ”as-needed” basis.
