VineyardKids is the ministry serving our littlest ones in the church – infants through elementary school age students – as well as their families. All children of these ages are invited to join us during kids’ church on Sunday mornings while the grown-ups hang out in the auditorium. We like to spend time worshiping together, reading the Bible and talking about it, playing games, making crafts, and having fun any way we can while we learn what it’s like to live and love like our amazing friend and savior Jesus.

Not only do we have tons of fun on Sunday mornings, but we also like to get together for special events. Jesus liked hanging out with his friends outside of church just like we love to hang out with ours! Stay tuned for upcoming movie nights and family adventures…

COVID-19 Procedures

We are excited to invite kids under 8 back to the building starting this Sunday, April 11th! Our Vineyard Kids team has been working hard to establish health and safety guidelines to keep germs at bay. Here are some key points below, and the full list of procedures can be found below.

Separate Entrance: We love being an intergenerational church family and look forward to the day when we won’t have to be on high alert for germs or social distancing, but in order to minimize contact between our youngest church members and older, more vulnerable church members, Vineyard Kids will enter through the new double doors to the right of the main entrance (still facing the parking lot).

Drop-Off: Please bring your kiddos to check-in through the new double doors on the right. You can check-in just inside these doors with us and then use the main church entrance yourself, or you can enter as a family through the Vineyard Kids doors to check in, then see yourself to the auditorium through the interior hallway from the multi-purpose room.

— All children 2 and older are required to wear a mask in the building

— Contact-free temperature checks will be done at check-in along with hand sanitizer

— No snacks at this time (We have been keeping the service to one hour or less, which will help us endure Kids Church without snacks!)

— Kids can bring a labeled water bottle from home; no other toys or items may come into church from home other than a Bible

—We will provide each child their own craft/coloring supplies to use weekly

—We will follow social distancing guidelines appropriate to each age group

— Check-in will begin 10 minutes prior to the service start at 10am; kids will gather in the multi-purpose room for free-time activities, then teachers will bring them to their classrooms down the hallway

Pick up: Grown-ups can come down the East hallway to pick up their kiddos and exit through the new double doors to the parking lot—the same spot as drop-off.

We know that these restrictions will make Kids Church feel different, but we will make sure to have fun playing, learning, creating, praying, and worshiping Jesus!
